OmniRetail Founder, Deepankar Rustagi, Selected As An Endeavor Entrepreneur

Endeavor concluded the 38th Virtual International Selection Panel (ISP) held 19-21 June 2023, with the selection of 13 new high-impact entrepreneurs representing six companies from 6 markets, including Nigeria’s OmniRetail founder, Deepankar Rustagi.

OmniRetail is a unified consumer goods distribution platform that improves the inefficiencies of traditional trade by digitizing the key stakeholders. OmniRetail ensures retailers get better ROI and manufacturers grow volume and reach through a wider distribution network. OmniRetail improves the distribution process from the manufacturer’s factory to the retailer’s shelf by creating a technology-driven FMCG platform. By partnering with other supply chain players for delivery and distribution, OmniRetail is able to scale faster with higher margins than the industry standard.

Commenting on their selection into the global network, Deepankar Rustagi, founder and CEO at OmniRetail (Omnibiz, MPlify and OmniPay), said, “I am very excited about joining the Endeavor network. Our selection speaks to our unwavering commitment to digitizing Africa’s essential goods distribution. This is an excellent avenue to connect with other talented founders and mentors across the world. We are positive about the impact this association will drive as we continue to build the future of B2B retail commerce in Africa.“

Before OmniRetail, Deepankar founded VConnect in 2010, one of the earliest companies in the Nigerian tech startup ecosystem.

The ISP is the final phase of a multi-step rigorous selection process, where candidates pitch their companies to top international business leaders and investors from the Endeavor network, making those obtaining a unanimous vote officially Endeavor Entrepreneurs. Once selected into the network by a team of global panelists, entrepreneurs gain access to a wide array of services enabling them to scale their businesses faster and multiply their impact.

Eloho Omame, Partner at TLcom Capital and Endeavor Mentor, added, “We are pleased to extend a warm welcome and congratulations to Deepankar Rustagi, founder and CEO of OmniRetail, as he joins Endeavor’s growing network in Nigeria. Deepankar’s bold vision and expertise in the dynamic B2B e-commerce category have positioned him as an entrepreneurial leader in Africa. We look forward to his contributions to Endevaor’s thriving, global community of high-impact entrepreneurs and to supporting his company’s journey to scale.”
