Founders of Helium Health selected as Endeavor Entrepreneurs

Leading healthcare technology provider in West Africa joins the leading global entrepreneur support organisation

Lagos, July 19 — Endeavor Nigeria announced today that Adegoke Olubusi, Tito Ovia, and Dimeji Sofowora, Co-Founders of Helium Health were selected as Endeavor Entrepreneurs at the 17th virtual International Selection Panel (ISP).

The ISP is the culmination of a rigorous multi-step selection process to identify high-impact entrepreneurs. These entrepreneurs have demonstrated the potential to leverage Endeavor’s resources and mentorship to create large-scale wealth and jobs. They’re committed to reinvesting their time and money in their local entrepreneurship ecosystems.

Founded in 2016 by Adegoke Olubusi, Tito Ovia, and Dimeji Sofowora, Helium Health is building the digital infrastructure that will power world-class healthcare services across emerging markets. Once selected, Endeavor Entrepreneurs gain access to an unparalleled global network of business leaders, entrepreneurs, & investors who volunteer to mentor entrepreneurs as they face challenges with rapid growth.

Goke Olubusi, CEO:

Goke is one of Africa’s most innovative entrepreneurs. As an engineer, he has years of experience working with global organizations such as eBay, PayPal, and Goldman Sachs. His penchant for building innovative products has landed him multiple awards from Chevron, Northrop Grumman, Maryland State, Lockheed Martin, and others. Adegoke served on the founding team for Africa’s largest indigenous social network with over 50 million users, and remains at the forefront of technological disruptions across the continent.

Tito Ovia, Head of Public Sector Growth:

Tito Ovia wants to change the world by making it easier for people to access quality healthcare. She has a BSc in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Manchester and has spent time working in Latin America and Africa with organizations like Orbis and Lagos State AIDS Control Agency. Tito uses her invaluable experience to drive public sector adoption of Helium Health’s solutions.

Dimeji Sofowora, CFO:

Dimeji is a lawyer with strong business acumen. He gained experience in the legal and financial sectors at top firms such as Goldman Sachs and Aluko & Oyebode, where he worked on M&A and capital market deals. Dimeji obtained an LLB degree from the University of Leeds and an LLM from the Queen Mary University of London.
