Breaking Barriers: Meet the 2025 Endeavor Outliers Redefining What’s Possible in Emerging Markets

They raised over $42 billion, created 1 million jobs, and are proving that high-growth companies from emerging markets aren’t exceptions—they are the new standard. Meet the 2025 Endeavor Outliers.
New York, NY: Endeavor, the Global Network of Trust of, by, and for entrepreneurs, today announced the 2025 class of Endeavor Outliers—the fastest-growing, highest-performing companies within the Endeavor community.
The Outliers program is a year-long experience that brings together leaders of scaleups that are rewriting the rules of entrepreneurship in markets often overlooked by mainstream capital. They are proving that transformational success is not exclusive to Silicon Valley, but rather, it is happening in cities and regions that are reshaping the global business landscape.
These Outlier companies are pushing past economic uncertainty, geopolitical instability, and capital slowdowns to scale at record levels. They represent a new baseline for what’s possible:
- $42 billion raised in the past three years
- 1 million jobs created
- 34 countries represented
- 76 companies valued at $1B+
- 36 exits and 13 publicly listed companies
“This class is proving that success in global markets isn’t an exception—it’s an accelerating trend,” said Nasim Novin, Senior Director of Entrepreneur Experience at Endeavor. “Each year, our Outliers set new benchmarks, raising the bar for their ecosystems and attracting international capital into markets that were once overlooked.”
Breaking Mental Barriers: Outliers Shape the Next Generation
The impact of Endeavor Outliers goes beyond numbers. They are not just growing companies; they are shifting mindsets. When Rappi became Colombia’s first unicorn, it showed an entire ecosystem that billion-dollar companies could be built in Bogotá. When Kavak proved that a Mexican startup could scale globally, it reset expectations for the entire region.
This year’s cohort includes companies that are setting new precedents in their industries:
- Omniretail – A B2B e-commerce marketplace, which has achieved extraordinary revenue growth of over 100-fold in just three years.
- Moniepoint – Ranked among Africa’s fastest-growing financial services providers, with an impressive 150%+ CAGR in recent years.
- Paga – Named by Financial Times as a Growth Champion, Paga surpassed 100 million annual transactions for the first time in 2024, advancing its mission of financial inclusion.
- Flutterwave – Africa’s leading fintech company with footprints reaching 35+ countries and supporting over 150 currencies globally.
- LemFi – A cross-border payments platform for immigrants, LemFi serves over 1 million users across the UK, US, and Canada, enabling instant, fee-free transfers to Africa, LatAm, Asia, and beyond, with full regulatory approvals in key markets.
“The inclusion of Moniepoint, Paga, Flutterwave, LemFi, and Omniretail in this year’s Endeavor Outliers highlights the momentum of Africa’s high-growth companies,” said Ireayomide Oladunjoye, Managing Director & CEO of Endeavor Nigeria. “These founders are not just scaling businesses—they are redefining financial services, commerce, and technology on a global scale. Their success proves that world-class innovation isn’t confined to traditional hubs; it is thriving right here in Nigeria and across the continent.”
The Future: Where Do We Go from Here?
The 2025 Endeavor Outliers prove that the ceiling of what’s possible keeps rising. If today’s Outliers are setting new records, what will the next five years hold?
For investors, the takeaway is clear: If you want to back the next wave of high-growth companies, it’s time to look elsewhere.
For founders, the message is even more urgent: If you want to build the future, the time is now.
